about US
MEDIATRIX SERVICES FOUNDATION
We take our name and mission from the example of the Mary, the Mother of God. The Catholic Church refers to her as the Mediatrix of All Graces. A mediatrix is a go-between, a mediator or bridge. Mary was a bridge between God and man. She brought Jesus to the world, physically in her womb, and spiritually by her life and actions. We seek to be a bridge between our Catholic Faith and the secular society that has shun both love for God and America.
Our two loves are Jesus Christ and America. We understand along with the Founding Fathers that only if this Nation remains “under God”, will it have a chance to flourish. All our activities, events, media productions will be in service of these two loves.
WHAT INSPIRED US TO START THIS?
The only approved Marian apparition in the United States is in Champion, Wisconsin. On October 9th, 1859 Mary appeared to Adele Brise and gave her simple instructions on how to evangelize this “wild country.” We see the words of Mary as our own marching orders for our organization. Here is what Our Lady said on that fall day:
“I am the Queen of Heaven who prays for the conversion of sinners, and I wish you to do the same. You received Holy Communion this morning and that is well. But you must do more. Make a general confession and offer Communion for the conversion of sinners. If they do not convert and do penance, my Son will be obliged to punish them.”
Adele’s companions, unable to see Our Lady asked, “Adele, who is it? Why can’t we see her as you do?”
“Kneel,” said Adele, “the Lady says she is the Queen of Heaven.”
The Blessed Lady gazed kindly upon them, saying, “Blessed are they that believe without seeing.” Then, looking toward Adele, the Queen of Heaven asked, “What are you doing here in idleness while your companions are working in the vineyard of my Son?”
“What more can I do, dear Lady?” asked Adele, weeping.
“Gather the children in this wild country and teach them what they should know for salvation.”
“But how shall I teach them who know so little myself?” Adele said.
“Teach them,” replied her radiant visitor, “their catechism, how to sign themselves with the sign of the Cross, and how to approach the sacraments; that is what I wish you to do. Go and fear nothing, I will help you.”
"Go and fear nothing, I will help you"
